Lucky Sign! Three Floating Tea Stalks

Today I went to a Chinese restaurant at Ala Moana Center.

I looked into my tea cup and I saw THREE tea stalks floating vertically.

In Japan, a tea stalk floating upright is a sign that something good is going to happen.

I thought, "Maybe I will write my first blog today!" ...and I did.

Sadly, the popular pineapple custard buns were sold out, but the rest of the food was delicious as usual!
