Block Drawing for Fun

When I worked on 4th grade Calvert Math for homeschooling last time, I learned about money division. I already mastered multi-digits division when I was in 2nd grade, because I used to go to Kumon. However, the dividing money involved decimal points, and that drove me crazy!

I usually finish 5 days worth of math lessons in one day, but I could only finish 2 lessons on that day.

I was so frustrated. When I saw the math textbook this morning, I felt very stressed.

Mom understood that and let me start today's math lessons with fun block drawing as warming-up.

ブロックでお絵描き

前回やったホームスクールの４年生の算数のレッスンで、お金の割り算について学びました。私は以前、公文に通っていたので、小学２年生の時にすでに２桁～３桁の割り算はマスターしていました。ですが、（アメリカの）お金の割り算には小数点があるので、とっても大変だったのです！

私は、普段５日分の算数のレッスンを１日で終えてしまうのですが、その時は２日分のレッスンしか終わらせることができませんでした。

すごく大変な思いをしたので、今日の朝、算数の教科書を見たとき、ちょっとストレスを感じました。

お母さんは、それをわかってくれて、今日の算数のレッスンは、楽しいブロックアートを、ウォーミングアップとしてやってもいいよと言ってくれました。
