Sewing Coats for my Dolls

Today I designed garments for my three favorite dolls: Piyo (a chick), Korilakkuma (a bear), and Slippery (a seal).

I sewed them all, including Piyo’s, which I am still working on.

I love to sew, which is now my hobby. I actually designed them for a reason: We are going to Austin, Texas during the Holiday to see my family there. Because it would be much, much colder in Austin, I decided to make garments out of cloth for my dolls.

It's hard to see in the picture, but I tighten the stitches on Korilakkuma's dress so that it looks puffy. I thought it's cuter that way.

I love looking at the stitches at the bottom, because it reminds me that I did it myself!

お人形のコートを縫いました

今日、私はお気に入りの人形（ひよこのピヨちゃんとコリラックマ、そしてアザラシのスリッパーリー）のために、お洋服をデザインしました。

これはみんな私が自分で縫ったものです。ピヨちゃんのお洋服は、今、製作中です。

私は縫うのが大好きで、私のホビーです。今回お洋服を作ったのには理由があります。この冬、親戚に会うために、テキサスのオースティンに行くのですが、オースティンはハワイよりずっとずっと寒いのです。それで、お人形に何か着るものを作ってあげようと思ったのです。

写真では見にくいですが、コリラックマのドレスは縫い目を絞ってモコモコになるように工夫しました。その方が、かわいくなると思ったからです。

裏側の縫い目を見るのは楽しいです。それを見ると、これは私が作ったんだ！と思うからです。
