Yesterday, we had so many house viewings again to find a new home in Maryland. We are doing this A LOT recently. It was fun to visit different houses and talking with realestate people (yes, I like talking to adults!) at first, but now I'm getting tired of it... I just want to move into a house soon.
The first viewing was at 9:00 a.m., and the latest one was at 6:30 p.m.. After each house viewing, we drive around the neighborhood, visit the local elementary school, then the middle school. If we had enough time (and energy), we also checked out nearby parks and facilities like YMCA, tennis courts, pools, basketball courts, etc.
When we came back to the hotel from house viewing, it was almost 11 o'clock at night. Mom remembered that there was a basketball game, Houston Rockets V.S. Golden State Warriors, that night, and we caught the last six minutes of it.
When we turned on the TV, the Rockets were winning!
I was born in Texas, and my Mom's American hometown is Denton, TX (near Dallas), and my Dad's is from Katy, TX (= Houston). This year, the Rockets could be the champion for the Western Conference!
This is the drawing I did to explain the three cities in Texas that have NBA teams.
This is me watching the game...
When Mom was watching the game, she was screaming with delight and joy. She looked very happy every time the Rockets scored. More enthusiastic than a child in an amusement park, I thought. I was cheery to see her so wild, and I thought it was a bit funny.
As I watched them do their clever tactics, Mom explained to me about certain basketball moves and I became fascinated.
The game ended and I felt very happy that the Rockets won! It was especially exciting when I saw really tricky moves.
I felt powerful and strong just by watching the game. It's also very fun to see that different moves make different outcomes, like an algorithm or decision tree of some sort.
I hope that they will win the rest of the playoff games!
Thank you for reading my blog. Please come back soon!
